Huge #CoronaCare campaign: FOCUS Online goes live for 12 hours on "Home Sunday"

Loneliness, uncertainty, financial hardship: the crisis is getting on people's nerves. This is why FOCUS Online has teamed up with BUNTE.de, CHIP.de, Finanzen100, NetMoms, FIT FOR FUN, TV SPIELFILM and TV TODAY to compose a 12-hour live programme against the lockdown blues: This Sunday will be a "Home Sunday", which will give people in Germany courage and joy! The news portal goes on air with formats that offer support to individuals in the crisis. In addition to mental coaching, financial tips and workouts, entertaining things are brought into homes and flats.
"Encourage and help" was the basic idea behind the #CoronaCare campaign, which FOCUS Online initiated in spring at the beginning of the Corona crisis. When the news portal from BurdaForward started to link people from risk groups with volunteers during the lockdown, it created a wave of solidarity. Tens of thousands networked and helped each other. With "Against Corona - for you" a new edition of the solidarity initiative is being launched at the start of a long Corona winter.
Entertainment and coaching in a 12-hour stream
Health, entertainment, emotional stability - on 15 November 2020 it will be all about what it takes to survive the dark and cold season well. FOCUS Online and the BurdaForward-Network offer with "Zuhause-Sonntag" a platform for artists, talents and experts who are currently unable to perform on a real stage.

Our joint initiative "Against Corona - for you" thrives on the lively interaction of our leading brands. We are gathering our forces to give people bright spots and moments of joy again and again in the coming Corona winter months.“

The diversity of the programme is designed to appeal to as many people as possible. In this phase of the crisis, we need different answers than at the beginning of the pandemic. That is why we have deliberately included many entertaining and encouraging elements.“
The "home day" starts at 10.30 and ends at 22.30. It starts with a church service with the unconventional Munich priest Rainer Schießler. Around 15 experts, coaches and trainers will share their knowledge in the individual slots. Top chefs, including TV chef Christian Henze, will provide inspiration for cooking at home. Master confectioner Bettina Schliephake-Burchardt, known from the Sat.1 show "Das große Backen", will also take part in "Zuhause-Sonntag". Poetry slammer Julia Engelmann and pop newcomer Malik Harris will perform on a virtual stage.
Sinfoglesia: Hymn to life
The song Victoriam, which is about the power of compassion, already inspired enthusiasm in spring as the soundtrack to the #CoronaCare initiative. Now the next single of the ensemble Sinfoglesia will be released just in time for "Home Sunday". Sanctus Dominus is a hymn to life. The piece gives a foretaste of the Sinfoglesia album Das Versprechen, which will be released on December 4th with 13 monumental pop-classical songs and is available in the pre-sale now.
With the motto "We give artists a stage" Sinfoglesia will celebrate the release on "Home Sunday". From about 19.20, viewers will be able to experience a colourful mix of artists from a wide range of genres, in addition to the album's genesis: Singer Peter Maffay, Musician Charly Klauser, Olympic gymnastics champion Fabian Hambüchen, presenter Hubertus Meyer-Burckhardt, celebrity chef Tim Mälzer, comedian Atze Schröder and entertainer Otto Waalkes - they all bring Sinfoglesia into German homes.
