What you can expect from us...

• You will own the professional leadership of a team of developers which is building an extensible and modular publishing platform which will consolidate and run all BurdaForward portfolio bands
• You will continuously optimize the Tech-Stack as well as the methods and processes of the agile development process
• You define the technology aspects and discuss the roadmap with the product management
• You will define the technical strategy together with the technology leaders at BurdaForward
• You will be extending the team to your product and technology needs
• You take the ownership and technical responsibility to keep a high quality of the platform

What we would expect from you...

• You have profound experience in building web-applications as well in state of the art web-technologies like Typescript, JavaScript, Java, VueJs, ReactJs, CSS Frameworks, AWS, Docker, NoSQL Databases)
• You are open for new technology trends, and you like to discuss them
• You have strong communication skills and can manage communication in an international team
• You have experience working in agile teams across multiple locations / remote
• You have a string desire for complex, technical questions and you are not shy to solve them
• You have got the DevOps mentality – you build it, you run it
