At BurdaForward we have been successfully implementing native advertising on our portals FOCUS Online, CHIP, NetMoms and Finanzen100 for six years now. This year we celebrated the 1,000th implementation! For this reason, we are giving away a branding campaign worth 50,000 euros to a young company that thinks as constructively as we do.

The competition
We had invited young companies and start-ups to send us a video in which the applicants explain what makes them so special and why they deserve the free campaign. Numerous cool applications were then sent in. Now all videos were reviewed internally and the top five were selected.
Avoidwaste
Germany is producing more and more unnecessary waste. This is exactly where the Impact-Start-up Avoidwaste of the founders Jan Patzer and Can Lewandowski from Hannover comes in. It offers functional and sustainable products for everyday use that make it easy to avoid waste in everyday life. Avoidwaste wants to be a faithful companion in the matter of "zero waste" and raise awareness of the topic of sustainability in society.
Goodgive
It all started at Goodgive with founder Sara Stichnote and her large patchwork family. They like to give presents and this has always caused a lot of packaging waste. That's why the start-up company Goodgive from Cologne has developed a cool gift packaging that combines as many positive factors as possible. The focus is on environmentally friendly, fair and local production.
Radu Studios
The young fashion label Radu Studios was founded by the three sisters Lea, Pia and Ines Radu from Leipzig. Radu Studios donates 5 euros to charitable organisations for every item sold and also works closely with them in product development. In the description of each product all costs are always listed transparently. It is important to the founders that no market margins come on top.
Hej! lights
Founder Christian Back from Munich offers 3D-printed lamps or lampshades. Sustainability is particularly important to him: instead of global supply chains, he focuses on regional production. The lampshades are only printed on order - and that without emissions and using 100% renewable energies. Moreover, the lampshades are made of organic raw materials and are therefore even biodegradable.
