Estate agent check: CHIP puts estate agents under the microscope
For a successful sale, it is all the more important to find the right estate agent. But in addition to experienced professionals, there are also "black sheep". Germany's largest consumer portal CHIP, together with the Munich-based start-up ProperBird, has now investigated more than 15,000 estate agents and, after intensive preliminary work, awarded the new "TOP Broker" award to the 25 percent of the best German estate agents.
Joining forces against the Corona Blues
Usually, Advent is a time of coming together. This year, however, people are encouraged to isolate themselves and keep their distance. The lockdown is hitting Germany hard. How can we nevertheless help people feel hope, feel less lonely and move closer together, at least a little, from within their own four walls at home? CHIP Net test: How crisis-proof are Germany's mobile networks?
The year 2020 was also a test for the German mobile networks. The introduction of 5G, stricter conditions imposed by the Federal Network Agency and the pandemic did not make things easy for network providers. Together with its partner NET CHECK, CHIP has been investigating the particular dynamics of this year and the effects on mobile networks in Germany. The conclusion of this year's major network test is that all three mobile networks have made a big leap compared to the previous year.
More than 5.000 participants at Germany's largest digital finance day of BurdaForward
Thinking big, implementing fast and disruptively moving the market - this is what BurdaForward (including FOCUS Online, CHIP, BUNTE, TV Spielfilm, Finanzen100) achieved with the largest digital finance day in Germany. For one day, 27 financial experts on three stages gave the more than 5,000 participants valuable tips on pensions, real estate and shares and also answered individual financial questions live. By publishing the most exciting video excerpts of the presentations, FOCUS Online was able to reach an additional 100,000 people with the day's content.
