Start small, think big: Our World Earth Day
"Promoting development, protecting the climate" - this is the motto under which BurdaForward launched World Earth Day as part of a large-scale cooperation with the BMZ (German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development) and the Alliance for Climate and Development Foundation. On its in-house digital portals such as FOCUS Online, CHIP.de or Bunte.de, the Munich-based publisher impressively shows what politicians are up to and what each and every one of us can do now in the fight against climate change.
Why self-tests should be part of everyday office life
This week, the decision was made: companies are now obliged to offer their employees Corona tests at least once a week. The procedure, which is a challenge for many companies, has been part of everyday life at BurdaForward for weeks - a good occasion to share experiences and motivate people to take this step.
Saying thank you & help children in need
2020 will long be remembered as extraordinary and particularly challenging. Now the end of the year is approaching in big steps - time to say thank you to companions. This time, advertising partners of BurdaForward can choose their own Christmas surprise and do good with a donation to the Tribute to Bambi Foundation.
Constructively through the crisis
In April BurdaForward reached more than 41 million unique users for the second time in a row - that is two thirds of all German online users. With the highest-reach news service FOCUS Online and a strong platform of user-centred special interest portals, we are supporting the corona crisis with reliable reporting.
Hack, Hack, Hurra!
Germany's largest hacker school
Shaping the future with digital know-how: The technology and consumer portal CHIP has taken its 40th anniversary as an opportunity to organize the largest hacker school in Germany. Around 200 students spent a day in Munich learning about the world of bits and bytes. They were guided by the Hamburg Hacker School and forty software developers from BurdaForward.
