After a 20-year career at Burda, Jürgen Schlott, Executive Director at BurdaForward, is leaving the company amicably and at his own request on February 28, 2025.
As a member of the management board at BurdaForward, he is responsible for the expansion of distribution channels and transaction-based business models alongside brands such as CHIP.de. Following his departure, his responsibilities will be taken over by the other members of the digital publisher's Management Board.
Jürgen Schlott began his career at BurdaForward (formerly Tomorrow Focus Media) in 2005, where he held various management positions in the areas of research & analytics, SEO and social media for the Burda subsidiary's digital portals. As portal manager of the new licensed brand The Weather Channel, he successfully established the weather offering in Germany in 2015. In 2016, he took over entrepreneurial responsibility for the FOCUS online, Finanzen100 and Netmoms brands as Managing Director of FOCUS online Group GmbH.
