“Generation Planet": Rolex relies on FOCUS online Earth for its climate campaign

Working on concrete solutions today to ensure that our planet remains livable - that's what the international “Perpetual Planet” initiative by Swiss watch manufacturer Rolex is all about. Rolex is relying on the young climate portal FOCUS online Earth for a major content campaign aimed at drawing attention to urgent issues relating to the preservation of our planet.
The planet we live on is changing. The basis of life for future generations is at risk on a massive scale and with increasing speed. What is needed are people who actively drive change and take responsibility for the protection and preservation of our nature and our environment.
For over half a century, the Swiss company Rolex has been committed to preserving our planet in the spirit of its founder Hans Wilsdorf. With the “Perpetual Planet Initiative”, the company supports researchers and organizations that use scientific findings to understand the world's ecological challenges and develop solutions to restore the balance in our ecosystems.
As part of the cooperation with Rolex, FOCUS online Earth will highlight concrete measures and initiatives that can lead to solutions for the major challenges of our time. For more than a year, a team of 10 dedicated editorial colleagues has been working on the major climate project FOCUS online Earth, a sub-brand of the high-reach news portal FOCUS online. This unit deals comprehensively with the essential questions concerning the preservation of our livelihoods.
FOCUS online Earth produces daily articles, reports and analyses that focus on role models and solutions to the climate crisis from its own climate office in the Ahr valley, which was set up after the flood disaster three years ago. The editors of FOCUS online Earth are not the only ones behind the content - the portal relies on a large climate network of almost 100 renowned experts who regularly share their knowledge on the platform. The result is Germany's largest hub for climate journalism, which reaches around ten million people every month.
