We sow flowering meadows and create diversity: For every sustainability campaign booked, BurdaForward concludes a flowering sponsorship of 500 square metres as part of the BienenBlütenReich project of the Blühende Landschaft network.
Bees, bumblebees and butterflies are true superheroes of nature. With their pollination, they ensure the preservation of our ecosystems. But their habitat is shrinking - their, and thus our, future is at stake. We take our responsibility seriously and have developed a magic formula:
1 campaign = 500m² flowering meadow
This means that we create 500 square metres of flower paradise for campaigns in the FOCUS online earth department or on our electric mobility portal EFAHRER.com as well as for targetings with a sustainable theme focus* and thus give humming superheroes a new home.
*Minimum booking volume of 10,000 euros in the booking period from 30 September to 31 December 2023.
Monotonous cultivated landscape becomes flowering insect diversity
Since 2003, the Blühende Landschaft network has been conjuring up colourful flowering areas all over Germany. The BienenBlütenReich project has already transformed 282 hectares into species-rich meadows. Special seed mixtures ensure that more than 475 insect species find a suitable habitat here - including 150 endangered wild bee species and 75 species that depend on very special flowers.
