"fit4future" Award for BurdaForward CCO Daniel Steil

At the annual charity gala of the Cleven Foundation, BurdaForward-CCO and former FOCUS Online Editor-in-Chief Daniel Steil was awarded the "fit4future" Honorary Award. Steil is a "man of the word" who makes a difference, emphasizes foundation chairman Robert Lübenoff in his laudation.

Making children and young people fit for the future - that is the declared goal of "fit4future", the major project of the Cleven Foundation. Through a variety of offers, children can playfully experience the joy of exercise, balanced nutrition and brain fitness in a stress-free and positive atmosphere. With a variety of sports camps and active projects such as "step, step kick!" or "dein-sport.de", the Cleven Foundation promotes exercise in everyday life and enables children to try out and discover different sports for themselves.

For years, FOCUS Online has regularly reported on the foundation's activities - first under the direction of Daniel Steil, then under Florian Festl - and thus helped its projects to gain more attention.

Daniel Steil dedicated the prize to his colleagues at BurdaForward and added: "fit4future enables children to do sports." Sport had also given him a lot personally and he wanted to give something back. "I can only ask everyone to think for themselves: What can he give back?"
