If you want to buy a solar system, you are spoiled for choice. All over Germany, Google and the like turn up numerous providers, from large companies to small service providers. To separate the wheat from the chaff, EFAHRER.com, Germany's largest portal for electromobility, has carried out a large-scale test. The aim: to find the best regional solar companies in Germany.
Supported by the solar provider Zolar, the performance of 230 solar companies throughout Germany was scrutinized in an elaborate process. The providers were evaluated in four categories. The specialist companies answered a detailed questionnaire on exclusion criteria for the preparation of offers, such as minimum roof size or roof type. Targeted, anonymous inquiries analyzed the response times, while a website check examined the range of services. Customer satisfaction was assessed through a sentiment analysis of 7312 Google reviews.
Regional focus for practical recommendations
The scores from the four test categories were incorporated into an overall ranking that showed the top rankings per federal state. The decisive figure is the average of the categories and serves as the basis for the ranking. A score of 1 corresponds to the best company with 100% in all categories, while 0 means the worst company with 0% across the board.
To ensure practical recommendations, the EFAHRER team has structured the test according to federal states. This regional evaluation allows consumers to make a very individual selection. 4th place: Alternativ Energie MV Frank Kapust (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) - Rating: 0.81. The simple website impresses with FAQs and financing information.
3rd place: GFK Solar Installation GmbH (Berlin) - Rating: 0.85. The website contains a solar configurator and an animated short film.
2nd place: Prev.end GmbH (North Rhine-Westphalia) - Rating: 0.95. The website scores points with a configurator, references and transparency in advertising.
1st place: Energiesysteme Groß GmbH & Co. KG (Hesse) - Score: 96 out of 100 points. The company offers a wide range of products, including solar systems, wallboxes and PV cleaning.
