One day, all of BurdaForward, 3,000 euros in donations - the BurdaForward Social Day 2021 was a complete success! We put on our running shoes, each for himself, but all together. Whether CHIP.de, FOCUS Online or BUNTE.de - our colleagues have collected kilometers. For every kilometer, BurdaForward donates to ROCK YOUR LIFE! gGmbH, which campaigns for more educational equality.
Every kilometer counts
BurdaForward went running, hiking and walking with the dog. In small groups, from the home office to the office, and on vacation, they diligently walked kilometers. All day long, our colleagues were virtually networked, motivating each other for the cause that is close to our hearts: fairer educational opportunities.
He also collected kilometers while jogging that day. For every kilometer run by BurdaForward employees, BurdaForward donates one euro to ROCK YOUR LIFE! gGmbH.
Children and young people are our future. They are the ones who will develop solutions for the challenges of tomorrow's society. And they, too, want to lead fulfilling and happy lives. Education is the key to this. Unfortunately, the opportunities for this are unequally distributed and often predetermined by socio-economic background. What we need, however, is an informed, solution-oriented society that is willing to take action. That's why BurdaForward, as one of the largest media companies in Germany, is using its power and reach for "Sprungkraft" - The Initiative for Fairer Education.
Sprungkraft – BurdaForward for education
The Social Day is the kick-off of the education initiative "Sprungkraft - BurdaForward für Bildung. As a media company, we asked ourselves how we can use our core competencies - first and foremost our reach and our journalistic expertise - to make an even greater impact. We can report. We can inspire. And we can motivate people to help with concrete solutions. That's why we are now presenting non-profit educational organizations on our portals such as FOCUS Online, CHIP.de and BUNTE.de and showing our readers how they can get involved themselves.
