100 artists, 1 good cause

on 10 April 2020

We can get lost in music. Music can make us cry. It can drive us to top performance in sports. It catches us, makes us happy or comforts us. Music carries and accompanies us through all situations in life. That is why we want to do good together with fantastic artists and the FOCUS Online #CoronaCare campaign and do good

At the moment we are exposed to a completely different situation. The number of infections is still rising, but fortunately much more slowly. Now Easter is just around the corner. Actually a celebration with the whole family. Whether a walk on Easter Sunday, church services or Easter fire - this year everything is different.

Especially at this currently very difficult time, music can give us comfort and hope.

Music for a good cause

As part of #CoronaCare, a very special piece of music from BurdaForward will also celebrate its world premiere on Good Friday, just in time for Easter: "Victoriam". More than 100 musicians and singers were involved in the elaborate production with classical orchestra and choir.

We live in an incredibly difficult time. It demands an incredible amount from all of us. With our anthem Victoriam we want to give hope. And we want to show all people that we are stronger than the virus with mutual care. Together we will emerge from this crisis - even stronger!“
Oliver Eckert, CEO of BurdaForward

The song says, "Victoriam misericordia - victoriam vitae - omnia speramus." So: The victory of humanity and humanity, of compassion as compassion, is the victory of life, which we all wish for. With this, the Cologne-based producer and successful composer Christoph Siemons (over 10 million records sold) has created a song that gets under your skin. Siemons created "Sinfoglesia" after a life-threatening illness he survived, as a thank you for his recovery. The first album will be released in autumn via BurdaForward Music.

With the #CoronaCare song we as BurdaForward want to do good together with the #CoronaCare Initiative of FOCUS Online.
As of today "Victoriam" is available for download on all music portals.
With every download, donations are generated which are collected to support food banks in Germany. In this way we want to make a joint contribution to providing people in Germany with the most basic necessities.

BurdaForward Communications

During my studies I discovered my enthusiasm for communication. Here, at BurdaForward, I have now been given the opportunity to live it out. When not in the office, you can usually find me somewhere in the mountains for mountaineering and skiing or on the Isar.
