We attach great importance to true solidarity

Your path at BurdaForward

Our environment is exciting and constantly changing. We need the freedom to constantly reinvent ourselves and at the same time we know how important it is not to lose sight of each other and to give each other support. So what makes the working environment at BurdaForward so special?

What makes us special

Our work has meaning.

The aim of our services is to sustainably improve the everyday lives of our users. That's why we always focus on their needs and problems.

For us, it's the "we" that counts.

Solidarity and team spirit are important to us. Despite hybrid work, we meet regularly on campus for team events, summits - and parties! Because celebrating has a long tradition at BurdaForward.

It never gets boring with us.

The media world is changing at breakneck speed. In order to stay on the ball, we are constantly reinventing ourselves and our offerings. Because we want to help shape the world of tomorrow today.

We work with the greatest possible flexibility.

We can spend up to 80 percent of our working hours working from home. We meet on campus to meet colleagues, exchange ideas and work together creatively.

We can juggle work and private life.

Thanks to flexible working time models, subsidized childcare and individual support for family caregivers, we have time for what really matters.

Your ideas do make a difference!

More than 40 million people use and value our services. In our start-up system, you even have the opportunity to pitch and promote your own business idea.

Founding a start-up and enjoying the safe haven of a company at the same time? That's possible at BurdaForward. I've never learned as much as I have since founding "News to be Good". It's a rollercoaster ride that we master anew every day.

Within the BurdaForward Academy, we offer over 150 free courses for all employees every year. Developing and networking together in line with our strategic goals is particularly important to us!

As a volunteer at BurdaForward, you experience an incredible amount: internal and external stations, my own academy, a great exchange programme with the Burda School of Journalism - I was even given the opportunity to go on a press trip abroad! What defines BurdaForward for me? Communication at eye level, inspiring people and working at the cutting edge.
